How I Manifested My Japan Trip (and Why It Reminded Me to Keep Going)

A year ago, I found out that Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball would be happening in Tokyo on January 25th. I remember sitting with that information quietly—no big declaration, no dramatic vision board moment—just a soft thought in my head: “I want to be there.”

At the time, it felt far away. Japan felt far. The concert felt far. But the desire stayed.

Lady Gaga has been someone I’ve looked up to since I was a child. Her music has carried me through some of the most challenging moments of my life—times when self-expression felt risky and believing in myself felt hard. Her art always reminded me that being different, being honest, and being yourself is not something you apologize for.

So when the opportunity to see her live finally unfolded, I knew it wasn’t just about a concert.

Manifestation Isn’t Always Loud
